Of course, one of the kids favorite things to do was to dig holes in the sand and continually refill buckets in the hope of keeping the holes full

The kids had a blast in this inflatable boat.  At first it was Lex, Colin and Gabe while Ciara hung out with Daddy.  Then she decided to join in too.

The waves had a completely calming effect on Ciara.  She just laid back in the boat and relaxed.  At one point, she even fell asleep in the boat.

We brought this big enclosure so the kids would have a safe place to play in the sand and the grown-ups wouldn't have to worry quite so much about one of them getting the urge to run off into the water alone.

July 3, 2009 - Daddy's Bday

Our 1st night in the condo at Port Aransas was Daddy's bday.  Earlier in the day, Aunt Shana, Aunt Ashley & I drove around town and found what must have been the only ice cream cake in all of Port A because it's Daddy's favorite.  Here is everyone hanging out and enjoying some cake.

We went down to Port A again this year for the 4th of July with Mommy's side of the family. The day before we drove down to see Boo Boo & Grandpa for a day, and they were nice enough to watch Riggins for us.  They did a little b-day party for Daddy while we were there...

Playing with Sally.  Colin is a very concerned guinea pig owner.  They love feeding her food and hay.  Every day, Colin checks on her and wants to make sure I'm keeping her cage clean enough and that she has enough food.  They take his booster seat down and put it on the floor to sit in front of her cage and watch her.  It's really cute.

June 21, 2009 - Father's Day

This is Sally (named after a car in the movie Cars), the newest addition to our family.  She was 4 weeks old when we got her.  Daddy was nice enough to spend some of his Father's Day going to get Sally and getting her all set up at home.  The kids absolutely love her, and she's extremely sweet.

That evening we went to see the Round Rock Express, a AAA baseball team.  We sat in the grass, which was really great for the kids.  We brought them some books and things to play with, and they did a good job.

This is the sandy area right off their townhouse patio.  The kids would love to take a run around the area each day.

The view right across the bay to South Padre Island.  There are always a lot of really pretty birds out in the water.

There was a fishing pier off the restaurant, so we took a walk down.  The sunset was really pretty.
